Tennessee Titans launch WR Adam Humphries


NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Titans have waived vast receiver Adam Humphries in a transfer that saves about $4.47 million in cap area, it was introduced Thursday.

Humphries completed with 23 receptions for 228 yards and two touchdowns in seven video games final season. The sixth-year receiver missed 4 video games final season after a vicious hit Cincinnati Bengals security Jessie Bates in Week eight resulted in a concussion.

The Titans signed Humphries to a four-year, $36 million contract in 2019 after he posted 76 receptions for 816 yards and 5 touchdowns with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2018. In 19 video games with the Titans, Humphries caught 60 passes for 602 yards and 4 touchdowns.

In corresponding strikes, the Titans agreed to phrases with DL Jullian Taylor on a contract. The crew additionally waived WR/DB Chris Milton and CB Breon Borders.
