Stanford’s athletic groups are capable of return to campus after Santa Clara County lifted the restrictions that had been in place on contact sports activities due to the coronavirus.
Stanford’s males’s and ladies’s basketball groups have been taking part in residence video games in Santa Cruz due to the ban that has been in place all season and was lifted earlier this week.
The sixth-ranked Cardinal ladies’s group left Tuesday for 3 video games in Washington and can return to Maples Pavilion on Feb. 5 towards Colorado.
The lads’s group will journey to Arizona on Wednesday and can play its first residence recreation Feb. 7 towards California.
Athletes should adhere to strict security protocols that embrace three checks per week and forming teammate-only households. Any athlete who travels greater than 150 miles exterior the county will likely be required to stay at their residence or group’s amenities besides when searching for medical care or different emergency providers.
