Joint Chiefs Of Employees Situation Memo Condemning Capitol Riot
The Joint Chiefs of Employees issued a memo to the complete U.S. navy on Tuesday condemning final week’s violent revolt on the nation’s Capitol.
“The violent riot in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 6, 2021 was a direct assault on the U.S. Congress, the Capitol constructing, and our Constitutional course of,” the memo, signed Joint Chiefs Chair Gen. Mark Milley and the remainder of the Pentagon’s Joint Chiefs, learn.

“We witnessed actions contained in the Capitol constructing that have been inconsistent with the rule of regulation,” the memo continued. “The rights of freedom of speech and meeting don’t give anybody the proper to resort to violence, sedition and revolt.”
