Florida Gators’ Keyontae Johnson grateful for help since collapsing on court docket

Florida Gators star Keyontae Johnson made his first public statements Friday since collapsing on the court docket in Tallahassee final Saturday, releasing a video on Twitter and Instagram thanking everybody for supporting him.

“Hey all people, initially I would wish to thank God,” Johnson stated in a 25-second video. “I do know y’all have been sending y’all prayers the previous few weeks, and me and my dad and mom are very grateful for the prayers which were going out.

“To all docs and medical workers at Tallahassee Memorial and UF Shands, I simply need to say thanks for all of the help y’all gave me, particularly the woman that was within the gymnasium at Florida State. To my Gator Nation and UF Athletic household, I simply need to thanks for all of the prayers that y’all gave out to me. Go Gators.”

Johnson, with an IV line linked to his proper arm, punctuated the video with a Gator chomp.

He collapsed within the first half of Florida’s sport towards Florida State on Saturday, falling face-first whereas heading again onto the court docket after a first-half timeout.
